Photo on the left is Meg the day before we meet, 26th July; the photo on the right is Meg 2 weeks ago. 5kgs gone; 5cm off her bust; 14cm off her waist and 15cms off her hips in 4 months.
BUT what is cooler than even the weight change is her Megs Testimony -
Before, I when go on a diet I would go out for dinner and completely cave. I used to look at other people’s plates and think “how can they sit there and eat that; they are being so well controlled”; but now it’s completely changed. I WANT the thai beef salad NOT the chicken schnitzel. I am not missing out at all!!
Its still hard to change my thinking around good and bad food; but I truly see food as something now that can nourish my body.
What keeps Meg going? Having a gym partner is definitely motivating. It makes getting up so early worth it. Fitting into old clothes and just feeling healthier is also a big motivator (and checking in with Nic!!)
THE POWER OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES - 8 a day will impact on your mind health
Both Sarah and Jane said it was ok to share their posts. I have done so, to highlight we can feel different by what we eat. Our food does really affect our mind and how we feel.
Can you go for 8 a day?
Give the fruit and veggie challenge a go. You never know, a day miss and you may start craving them.
The Summer Vegetable Dinner Twist - the crisp iceberg lettuce. The san choy boy style of pork mince with vegetables wrapped up in cold washed iceberg - yum! You can also put a mince patty with tomato, cucumber, beetroot, onion and chutney inside your lettuce cup for a different style hamburger.
