I thought to remind you why I email you each Sunday night.
These emails started in January 2015 as a way of supporting my vision for health. We are all on this pathway of "healthy living", yes some at different stages to others, but we all are in this together. So these emails began as a way to provide support to you, to enable and encourage YOU to help you live a healthier life. Health means more than weight. To me, health is having peace in the heart and mind, moving our bodies in a way that feels right to you, and eating nourishing food because you know how well it looks after your body.
Each day is made up of many opportunities. To do each day we need a level of organisation otherwise when left to our own devices we can use emotions to influence our decision (ie I feel tired... I feel..).
My decision to email "my girls" (and a few guys, love our men - Garry, Michael, Greg, Dave and Trev) each Sunday Night is to remind you its a new week and your health is important to me.
Doing life well is not about perfection. I am learning its actually quite the opposite. For me, I plan Sunday to Wednesday, then Wednesday I reassess and sort (food) out till Friday. Weekend arrives, I see what's happening and plan accordingly. So its not about getting the week perfect, its about managing small parts at a time and these small parts build on success.
These emails do take a lot of time each week, but they will keep coming, as I believe in YOU, and I want to remind you every Sunday night to keep going. You have never failed or relapsed. Every step is part of the journey. It's all a process of getting to know you and your body better. x
